{"id":373,"date":"2022-06-14T12:58:15","date_gmt":"2022-06-14T12:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/box5380.temp.domains\/~agamalor\/?p=373"},"modified":"2022-06-14T13:11:53","modified_gmt":"2022-06-14T13:11:53","slug":"dr-keziah-laurencia-malm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agamal.org\/home\/2022\/06\/14\/dr-keziah-laurencia-malm\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Keziah Laurencia Malm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Malm is the Programme Manager for National Malaria Control programme (NMCP) in Ghana. she is a Medical Officer by profession and has specialized in Public health.<br \/>\nShe is the co-chair of roll back malaria (RBM) working group and a Member of the steering committee of the RBM Country\/Regional Support Partner Committee.<br \/>\nAs the programme manager of NMCP, Dr. Malm leads the strategic direction and planning for malaria control in Ghana, she also leads the policy development, resource mobilization and manages the entire malaria control in Ghana.<br \/>\nDr. Malm is great at ensuring that the implementation of key interventions needed for the reduction of malaria burden nationwide are carried out promptly. She monitors the performance of the National Malaria Control Programme in achieving its set objective and Supervises the implementation of operational research, evaluations and assessments of the Malaria Control Programme in Ghana<br \/>\nAs a public health specialist, Dr. K.L. Malm has guided the design, proposal development and supported the implementation of a lot of research studies including Baseline Study for the Vulnerable Group In Ghana( Kayayei) in 2019, a Study to understand the causes of High Mortality in Children in the Northern Region in 2017. Dr. Malm has also contributed to a number of published policy documents including but not limited to: Ghana Malaria Strategic Plan, 2014-2020 ( Third Generation), Ghana Monitoring and Evaluation Plan, 2014-2020 ( Third Generation), Ghana Malaria Case Management Guidelines, 2014 and Ghana National Malaria Drug Policy, 2014.<br \/>\nDr. Malm holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, (MB.ChB) from University Of Ghana, Accra Ghana and an old student of Mfantsiman Girls\u2019 Secondary School in the central Region of Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Malm is the Programme Manager for National Malaria Control programme (NMCP) in Ghana. she is a Medical Officer by profession and has specialized in Public health.
